    Tremolo

Tremolo is the sound of a cooling molten granite crystal. Instrumental drone rock tuned into a blasted antarctic plain. Improvisational guitar soundscapes. Band members are Jack Monahan (guitar), Jamie Catrona (guitar), Bruce Gulluck (samples, loops, bass guitar) and Sam Richardson (percussions).

review from their March 18, 2001 show at the Rotunda:

Tremolo's show at the R5/Foundation/Rotunda...was really extraordinary. I love how this group continues to evolve. Well paced, ambient, concrete compositions, improvised, interesting and beautiful. (A.N.Varady)

review from their June 1, 2001 show at the Khyber:

Tremolo accomplished one of the all-too rare things in noisy textural music: a performance with contour. They moved through many moods and atmospheres, at one point blowing me through the back wall of the Kyber out onto Bank street. Give the drummer a raise. He was consistently interesting, providing a steady pulse while pushing things forward with complicated rhythmic patterns. (Jeff Towne)
