If
you missed Saul's set at his last perfomance at the Gathering you should
feel some regret. The good news however is that Mr. Stokes electronic music
artist and Instrument creator has now moved to Philadelphia. The Consortium
welcomes Saul to our creative community. Hypnos Records has just released
his third album on their label, Outfolding (see
below).

now, Saul Stokes is the first artist to release his third CD on Hypnos.
Released today is Outfolding, a daring and mature step beyond his most
recent album, Zo Pilots. The primary sound sources on all Saul Stokes
recordings are several vintage-style analog modular synthesizers built
by Stokes himself. But don't mistake this to mean Stokes is working
in a retro or "classic E-music" style, because this is definitely not the
case. Perhaps no artist in the ambient/experimental music scene possesses
a sound as distinctive and fresh. Those who have seen Saul's much-acclaimed
live performances in Philadelphia during the past year can attest to his
