Fuzzybox :
Fuzzybox is perhaps Philadelphia's best known ambient-pop label. Founder Sean O'Neal released his own Flowchart albums thrugh Fuzzybox and gained distribution through Carrot Top and Darla Records. Fame and renown followed and soon Sean acquired an entourage of international and local contacts to collaborate with. Fuzzybox has worked at publicizing artists from local ambient/intelligent labels tb(tm)o and doubtful, and with tb(tm)o has been cooking the Hologram series of ambient jaunts at La Tazza Saturday nights.
In 1998/99 Fuzzybox released a compilation of work by local and international artists. The album "Versions" ostensibly featured remixes of Adam Diangelo's Fingernail album "so, backwards".
Props to Erin Anderson for getting the Fuzzybox homepage up and for packaging a smartlooking mixtape. (Erin is Sean's copilot in Flowchart).
